Once upon a time, there was a team called Neptunes.

Not the biggest team. Not the most famous. Not blessed with the best training environment. But we had something powerful — one goal: to support each other and, shoulder to shoulder, achieve everything we could together.

We shared many ups and downs. We said goodbye to friends with tears, and welcomed new members with open hearts and big smiles. We reset, rebuilt, and started again more times than we can count — but we never gave up. Every time, we came back stronger, closer, and more united.

Then the day came when preparation ended, and the journey began at the 2026 Australian & Oceania Championships. After successful training days, the coaches could feel it in the team — the energy, the belief, the noise saying: We can do this. We came for this.

Day by day, we competed. We showed what we had worked for. We celebrated, then reset, then went again.

The youngest and the oldest, the athletes, officials, and coaches — the most experienced and the least experienced — all stood together as one every single day.

This was the most successful competition in Neptunes history. But more than medals, it was about the journey, the unity, the resilience, and the moments we shared together through every challenge.

And this is only the beginning. We will come back again and again — even better.
